Customized Family Support

Family Support Program - Improving the health of relationships, and functionality of co-parenting partnerships.

for folks + families.

We know that reaching out for support can be a significant—and often vulnerable—step. You deserve a team that listens deeply, adapts thoughtfully, and walks beside you without judgment or pressure. At the co-lab, we honour the courage it takes to ask for help. We approach every individual and family with respect for your lived experience, your values, and the pace that feels safe for you.

Whether you’re navigating co-parenting challenges, working to rebuild trust and connection, managing high-conflict or court-involved dynamics, or seeking personal counselling or coaching, we meet you exactly where you are. Our work is shaped around your goals, your story, and the realities you are carrying.

We help you make sense of complex moments, strengthen your support systems, and build practical, compassionate strategies that support your wellbeing—and the wellbeing of the children in your care. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to navigate it alone. We’re here to help you move toward clarity, confidence, and meaningful change—one steady step at a time.

for colleagues + referring professionals

Family law and family services professionals can trust that folks and families referred to the co-lab will be supported with exceptional professionalism, consistent follow-through, and clear, transparent communication. We collaborate seamlessly with lawyers, counsellors, child specialists, educators, and community supports to ensure alignment around each child’s best interests and the family’s overall safety.

Our team is highly experienced in court-involved, high-conflict, and trauma-impacted contexts, and we approach every file with the nuance, steadiness, and clinical precision these situations require.

Many of our practitioners bring more than a decade, often two or more, of specialized experience in areas such as family violence, complex co-parenting, substance use/misuse concerns, litigation-involved and agency-involved family dynamics. All counsellors are master’s-level clinicians, and many team members have held prior roles in child protection, forensic settings, law enforcement, and specialized family-service agencies.

When you refer to the co-lab, you’re connecting families with a team that is collaborative, reliable, child-centric, and unwavering in its commitment to safety, clinical integrity, and trauma-aware practice.
